Zealot's Oath and Chaos damage over time maps?

Hello, I'm an auramancer that wears Shavronne's Wrappings and was wondering if I take Zealot's Oath passive will that allow me to run chaos damage over time maps?

Zealot's Oath will allow you to survive degen, as long as you have some Life Regeneration passives or gear. Any place it says life regen, just think of that as "ES regen" instead. Zealot's Oath doesn't affect life flasks.
