Offline yet appear online in friend list

Hi, this happened about 15 minutes ago i'm totally offline not even connected to steam and a friend of mine sees me online in friends list. Also when wispered no "this user is not logged in" message appear! Is this a sign that my account is probably hacked? plz answer fast i'm startled!

i doubt you are hacked, if you are using steam they have pretty good security.
It's probably a very minor glitch in your friends game that's not updating your online status...if anyone was on the account your friend wouldn't get the message he dose when he's trying to /w you Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi
