Will summoner decoy flameblast witch work?

Basically start with Witch, take the Templar top side for max shield block, fire dmg and area dmg bonus. Take the Shadow side for ES, CI and faster casting bonus. Take some minions node but not going full on. Swap to Searing Touch for blast; otherwise use mightnight + shield for summon.


Evasion + ES + Block for defense. May get AA if it is reachable.

Minions (mainly Zombie and Skele) / Totem as meat shield and distraction so they only need to last long enough for the Flameblast.

Might use Bone/Flesh Offering

Aura: Discipline + Regen + may be Haste?

Might add Cold Snap for freezing + blast in case minions die fast.

Summoner hybrids work decent enough, especially ones that use spells as damage, however you need to crossinvest a bit so mid-game can be a problem with your summons dieing a lot, your own defenses subpar and your offensive spells relying only on gear to work.

Some tips from my experience with summon/attack hybrids:

- make summon defense your top priority, if they die in a few hits your whole concept is screwed, rush minion life and regen nodes, also use purity of elements and vitality for extra durability, it's probably easier and cheaper to build this on life so skip discipline, you also don't need any damage auras.

- zombies are a good everyday meat shield and skeleton totem is nice to fall back on, however nothing can beat giant statue spectres, they do pitiful damage but the damn things are nigh unkillable, don't waste time on animated guardian.

- flesh offering isn't that useful, you don't rely on summons for dealing damage anyway, but bone offering is great for tough battles.

start like you would race
firetrap and ice nova after brutus take flameblast
take the spelldmg nodes up to firewalker
rush the +1 spectre and templar minion nodes get the +1 spectre boots by the time you reach dominus you safe up 15c and buy a tabula 6l 3 bubbleguys(spectre-addfire-fastcast-echo-aoe-culling) supported by 6-8 minionnodes and 6 zombies
slowly respec out of those firenodes when you start to hit 60

works like a charm you dont need flameblast with 3 evas on steroids
