ask to see another Players Gear/passive tree

As a new player coming into the game I would really like to learn from some others in the game that I can see are doing well.
And while twitch and thread do help me, I think there are many that would like a feature to see another players gear/passive tree Whether for learning purposes, or for the person to showoff what they have. This could be be a 2 way view as well, so both parties will see each others items/passive tree, and possibly give advice. This would also be on a request basis, as there are many people that do not want to show this stuff. But it's happened many times where I can see someone playing a similar style to me but doing so much better, and I would like to know what I have done wrong. Also as a new player I don't know what are good uniques, and rare rolls on certain items. I hope this thread is to the point enough, and that it's not just me that feels this way. I'd like that too. Whenever asking around on how this or that works, and the topic arrives at skill tree etc, its a pita to exchange a link to open in a browser.
An Ingame-Option would be great. |

You have the forum and some sites which have build info including spec and recommended gear and possibly videos demoing it if you are really interested. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" if some chop wants to lord over noobs about how good their items are, then you can just not accept the invite to look. And Youtube videos won't help when I'm trying to see what the player in my group with a same play style is taking more hits that me and or doing more damage. Youtube and guides will only tell me what I can be later in the game. I want to know right, on my first character I was playing a3n and wanted to know why the fire witch next to me with same skills was doing better. youtube and builds would tell me, well at end game you can be like this..... I had to ask for linked items to chat, and links to poe path to see, why am I less powerful now. |

" You can always ask nicely for the items to be linked or tell you where the difference is to your build. This has been suggested before anyways so the devs know about it already. |
