More quest in POE?

Hi, firstly sorry for the English. Secondly, this is just my quick thought and I just want to see yours opinions (if any...).

Is there any room for more quest in POE?

Such as NPC guest missions
NPC Spawn randomly on every node. (the same idea as corrupted area)
Once you accepted the quest, you will have certain of time to finish this quest.(a day or two depends on the difficulty) There will be a limited quest you can accept at the same time.

A new NPC on every town, he/she will list all the quests that you accepted and giving you the reward (reason why NPC wont staying on node is the same reason why corrupted area wont staying.)

Mission:
-Normal mission, defeat a special monstor in location X.

-Chain mission, find X and Y and then use them to open up a strong box with random monsters. Defeat them and get item Z back to the NPC in town.

-Protective mission, protect a npc or npc(s) to cross the map or to protect a "gate" (just like the bandit's camp, they only have one way in, but in this mission, there will have a few way in) there will be 2-3 gates and they will serve the same purpose as decoy totem. You lose when they got destroyed.

so look likes people wont mind about more quest just the reward is the problem...

Reward - can be an item or currency. Chance for dropping high value currency are rare, the higher difficulty the quest is the higher chance to give you some unique/rare currency/item.

[new]
Reward - Based on the mission type and difficulty. There will be a set of item/currency for the mission type you finished. The quantity of items will based on difficulty.

I mean...the reward in corrupted area is random as well...why people have no issue with it...?

My idea is just on top of the corrupted area...which giving you the chance to play that "corrupted area" later.

Why do people think this is an MMO/WoW clone? There can only be a limited number of quests because this is a ARPG not MMOARPG.

There will be a new act and new quests at the beginning of the next year and they want to fit in some quests for the zones where there is nothing yet. Like dread thicket for example, they want to add a quest to that eventually.
Dirk, I see no problem with giving people random generated quests, as something else to do other than grind endlessly. Just because mmos do it doesn't mean that other things shouldn't do it. Both Torchlight 2, and Diablo 3 do it now. I think it's a good idea.

How would a game like this even handle random quests anyways? What would the rewards be? If you get lets say, a gem from a random quest and someone gets a rare item from a random quest, how is that fair and balanced?

well, by this logic if some people getting unique item in corrupted area and some dont. This is not fair either. And beside, as my suggestion is they will spawn like corrupted area so chance is always there...You didnt get it, try again later or try it on different location...

The reason for making this suggestion is that with the random quest, the game wont feel that "empty"...

Regardless, GGG is continually improving current content, while adding new content. I hate to make any real judgement call on this one, until I see a reaction from Chris or etc, but it seems they are more going the route of adding random events to zones.
There isn't really any point to them unless you want to add some sort of reward over whats in given from the quests now. and i for one don't want to feel forced into doing randomly spawning quests just because the give something out of the ordinary.
