UNHOST'S 1 MONTH DYADUS BURN MARAUDER THEORYCRAFT


THIS IS MY ATTEMPT AT MAKING A MELEE BURN BUILD FOR THE UPCOMING 1-MONTH LEAGUE THAT FOCUSES ON USING THE DYADUS INFERNAL AXE. I'M HOPING THE CLEAR SPEED IS JUST AS FAST, IF NOT FASTER, THAN DETONATE DEAD. PLEASE DON'T NERF BURN, CHRIS!

I've tried a dyadus marauder just a few weeks ago. It's really week, imo, got it to level 70, running anger, and the burn does 1/3 of monster hp in merc docks. I didn't use inc.burning damage, though, plus, you're taking more burn/fire nodes than I did, so maybe your version ends up being stronk. And to answer one of your questions: yes, mana is a problem (at least it was for me).

Hi! =)

-If you drop melee splash for chance to ignite, you don't get as much reflect. Also lower mana multiplier and more reliable ignites against single targets.

-I believe Weapon Elemental Damage is much more important than increased burning damage. Although the chance to ignite from quality is nice. Maybe drop Increased Aoe?

Id try Dual Strike, Chance to Ignite, Prolif, WED, Fire Pen, (Burning dmg/Inc. Aoe)

-Fire pen doesn't double-dip burning dmg. It only affects the initial hit, which is important against fire resistant bosses or hexproofs.

-40% increased burning dmg taken while chilled is multiplicative (like in Vulnerability), so go for chills! It adds a lot of survivability too.

-I'd go for Inner Force instead of Berserking for example.

-I'd go to arsonist through the two str nodes on the right side of Bloodless instead of the left side. You lose nothing, but you get access to Bloodless, if neccessary.

-Lava Lash is really strong, although it doesn't double-dip to burn.

-Going to Immolation through the 8% fire dmg nodes yields much more dps, since they double-dip. You lose the 0,4% regen though.

I live in Finland. =)
Tested this on my Ambush Witch, damage is a lot better than I thought it would be! Still considering ideas on ways to improve the build.
