Passives to Increase Searing Bond Damage

Greetings!

So I've gotten my dual SB Templar up to 70 and I'm starting to see the damage drop off that other SB threads have mentioned so I am going to try to squeeze every drop of damage out of it that I can.
Currently I'm doing a hair over 6k dps with SB, that's raw, without curse (Flammability) or Elemental Equilibrium. I don't know how to calculate those, but only Piety & Dom don't instantly melt once both of those are applied.

For passives, I have taken all Increased Burning, Totem and Elemental Damage nodes and am working on adding more Increased Fire Damage nodes, in particular Arsonist, Immolation and Fire Walker.

These passives increase SB damage;

Increased Burning Damage
Increased Elemental Damage
Increased Fire Damage
Increased Totem Damage
Increased Damage Over Time*

*Thank you raics.

These passives do NOT increase SB damage;

Increased Spell Damage
Increased Elemental Damage with Weapons
Iron Will (not a passive, but I just thought I'd mention it)

These I do not know;

Increased Elemental Damage with Spells (Elemental Dominion)

Can anyone speak to Elemental Dominion and its affect to SB?

It doesn't work, only on damage that is both 'spell' and 'elemental', so it works, say, on fireball and added elemental damage on ethereal knives, but it doesn't work on detonate dead or added elemental damage on bear trap or shockwave totem.

Yes, those are technically spells, but their damage type isn't 'spell', same goes for searing bond, it's a spell but its base damage type isn't 'spell' but 'DoT'.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

It works the same as Increased Phys Damage with Melee Weapons and Spectral Throw. Searing Bond does deal Elemental Damage, and it is a Spell. It does not deal Spell Damage, but ED doesn't grant Elemental Spell Damage so that's okay.

I am also wondering about Damage over Time.

From the wiki;

"
Fire damage dealt over time by the beams is considered burning damage, and therefore benefits from increased burning damage modifiers

Would passives such as Growth and Decay (18% increased damage over time) add to the damage?

Yes.

But consider the skillpoints you need to allocate to get there vs skillpoints in other, nearby nodes.

the 3 points above the shadow start give 45%, but if you need more then 15 points to get there its better to go for the 8% Fire nodes nearby, since you get more dmg per "node invested in the skilltree" for it.

False. It affects damage which is both spell damage and elemental damage. It's described as it is because "spell elemental damage" was judged at the time to sound weird (although I think we might need to revisit that in the future, as the game has somewhat changed around it).

In additon...

"Increased fire damage and increased elemental damage also affect this skill, however increased spell damage modifiers do not."

"Elemental spell damage" sounds more natural to me, but then again I'm not a native English speaker.

Things like "weapon elemental damage" and "melee physical damage" sounded sort of weird to me as well in the beginning (as opposed to "elemental weapon damage" & "physical melee damage").

It might sound a little odd, but at least it's actually accurate?
Well since I might have Mark's attention, any words about DoT influencing SB?
