Mjonler not casting while in off-hand with dual strike

Topic. :(
I was doing some experimenting with my current Mjolner build, with Doon Cuebiyari in my main hand and Mjolner in my offhand. While experimenting with trigger setups, I found that Mjolner would not cast on dual strike unless I moved it to my main hand. This is unfortunate, and seems like it should not be the case. Dual Strike can only trigger on-hit effects for the main hand.

Is cleave the same? Obviously not with mjolnir.

"Because it combines the damage of two calculated damage packages (one per hand) into a single hit which is applied. An attack hit is either a main hand hit, or not (in which case it's off hand). It can't be both. There are some long term plans to try some ways to get around this, but it's not a priority. | |

Does Double Strike work the same way?
As for the item Mark of the Doubting Knight, it says causes bleeding on crits, and I was told someone tested this and it worked globally. I assume that means even if it were in offhand while using double strike. Thanks. |

Double Strike exclusively uses the mainhand weapon, so I guess it kinda does work the same way in that it can only ever be a mainhand Hit. It'll trigger the Mark's bonuses with mainhand Hits.
