Path of Exile in Russian language

Hello everyone!
The only official info about POE in russian that I found is an answer from Chris on reddit:
"
can't talk about it in more detail currently but our longer term plan is to bring PoE to Russia including localisation, appropriate payment methods, local servers, etc.

The post is 6 months old, wanted to ask if someone knows more about this?
I have a lot of friends that don't play the game because there's no Russian language.

Also wanted to suggest that Russian speaking players that play the game and are fluent enought in english help the developers to translate it to russian. I'm sure I'm not the only one with some free time and the will to help POE become more popular!

If you think you can (and want) to help translate POE to Russian please post here, I'll make a list and maybe the dev's will let us help them =)

List of ppl that want to help translate

They will seek out professional translators and may already have. Time will tell when they release more info on this.

And I would not dare to expect less of them. But If there are enought people willing to help them translate they could get a translated version of the game for free and then hire professional translators to check that the translation is actually correct, wich would save them quite a bit of money.
Since there are not many news on the russian translation I'm guessing it's in the longterm to-do list. I'm just hoping to make the process a little faster.

P.S. and btw I happen to be a translator, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here ;)

Well, its not like GGG works out in the open. They could be translating as we speak. They probably work on a lot of things at the same time at all times. It seems like they have a bigger project in mind when it comes to russians. Their own server like with garena perhaps and their own shop and such. Who knows, anything could happen.
Last time Chris* talked about this, he hinted that the process is alot more time consuming because once they supply localization, they also want to supply customer support in that language. That's were things get complicated because they would need to find partners taking this load of their shoulders. It would be ideal if that partners could also handle the translation, as the game would need to be translated continuously throughout the future development.

*Or some different GGG employee, can't remember exactly.
