Question about Traps/Totems

Are totems, like Searing Bond, created by traps affected by %increased Trap Damage nodes/trap elemental penetration node?

If the totem was created by a trap it will benefit from trap gem damage bonus and trap damage passives.

However, elemental penetration won't work with searing bond totem, your skill needs to hit for that, and damage over time doesn't hit. It would work just fine with flame totem.
