No sound at all and literally nothing works

Hi, I took a break from this game before and now I come back to it, there is no sound at all. I have the Razer Kraken 7.1 USB headset and I have possibly tried everything and it doesn't work.

Firstly, I had PoE on Steam, and the game said that I had no audio drivers detected. I uninstalled that and downloaded the standalone client, and now I have absolutely no sound, but in the audio options the game says "Generic software on headset".

I have tried running the game as admin. Tried adding -softwareaudio / -swa. I have tried dropping OpenAL Soft dll into my PoE folder but none of those methods worked.

If anybody could help me out I would be grateful to the point of euphoria. Thanks!

7.1 is probably the issue, at least it has been an issue for others in the past.

Try setting your output to stereo with whatever driver software you're using
