Kicking a Dead Horse.

I read the forums fairly regularly and the info from GGG is pretty much SFL is dead. But in GD forum you still see SLF threads. It's like kicking a dead horse and saying, "look it MOVED, it must be alive!"

Here's my suggestion.

How about SFC -> self found characters? No new leagues but two types of characters exist within the present leagues. The SFC have all trading/pickup options disabled other than what the game allocates to them personally. They also appear on the same ladder as traders but the two different styles of gameplay each get a distinguishing icon.

In one definitive way, SFC will not only add diversity within the same league, but also when they're side by side with traders, they could add a whole new level of challenge to the gameplay.
