Lightning Strike Shotgunning and CoC question

Is it possible for the projectiles of Lightning Strike to shotgun targets?

If I have Cyclone + CoC + Firestorm + Firestorm, will both firestorms cast separately or will only one be used?

Projectile Attacks cannot shotgun, only Projectile Spells (with the exception of EK).

With CoC you have a 10ms cooldown to trigger spells linked.

If you have 2 firestorm they will both try to trigger, but if the first trigger the second will be automatically abort because of the cooldown of the first.

So it will essentially double the chance of any firestorm proccing on a crit?

you would have 96% to proc instead of 80% (with lvl 16 CoCS for example)

but is it worth the slot? Nope

edit: I would use arc or ice nova in second slot. Or if you use volls, coc firestorm+discharge is amazing

Right now I'm doing a specifically non-discharge CoC character.

I'm using Spectral Throw + Cast on Crit + LGOH + GMP + Arc + Firestorm. I've found that Arc is the single best thing to use as it can quickly stack shock effects on targets and Firestorm does a ton of damage.
