Searing Bond templar passive tree

Hi, I'm pretty new to PoE and am unsure of where to go next in my passive tree. I want more health and armor, but should I continue on the scion health wheel, or go south of AB into the life/armor nodes around there? Or north of AB for the armor/es nodes? Or elsewhere?

I'm currently playing HC with the ign DongerRedux

Anyone? Here is my current gear.

I went with the scion nodes, and I also grabbed some health regen, but I'm not sure if it would have been better to just forgo that for the marauder start via right of AB.

here is my current tree: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgUAAnEEswVbEMwSaRRNFm8XHBmFGjgabB8CJKoo-ilPKhMrtiynNZI2xTbYNulBh0WdRtdN2E3jVcZZ813GYG1ilWh0cXlyqXqqfVOBb4KbgseDOIdliBuI8YuMjEaMdo9GkFWUoJitmuCcLZ2Ana6ePKIAo_KnCKeEp5SsqrJwtQS2hrc-uJPAGsMTxq7PZdDQ0f3YJNpi2t3d8-Fz42rkIuvu7DjsVe0g74XwH_cy-JP56P4K_o8=

And here is my gear:

Any help/tips are appreciated. I've started to do maps, but feel very squishy even with 3.4k health. I think it's because my armor is so low, from few %increase armor nodes. I only have estimated 38% phys dmg reduction, and that's with determination running.

guess I'll bump this again.
you only have 174% life with your tree with 91 points thats a little to low for hardcore league

this tree gets you 238% life for the same 91 points and from there on i would take iron reflexes & run grace for armour aswell as the groth&decay cluster south of iron will for damage improvement.
thank you very much!
I took your idea, which was great, and slightly modified it.

Instead of working up from totem mastery to the health nodes, I just went through the armor nodes to the left.

I had some orbs of regret just from leveling, and so I have totally respecced my tree to what I posted above. It's a large improvement, the only issue I face now is mana.

I had been running determination + vitality with no issues, but that isn't feasible anymore. I have enough health to where I don't worry about running vitality, and instead just run determination. That gives me enough mana to place searing bond a fair few times, but if the totems are dying (say, to voidbearer cheese), then replacing them quickly can become an issue.

Is it easier to just find mana/mana regen on gear, or should I work towards mana% nodes?

Similarly, I enjoyed the health regen from vitality and the scion start, is taking those back eventually a bad move?

removed the 8+8+12 = 28% health nodes very east near ranger, can take 3x 6%life 8% mana and 2x 6% life from scion for a total 30% life 24% more mana for same point investment

towards lvl 80 id advise anyone on a searing bond build to go for eldritch battery/mind over matter keystone. damage over time nodes+life regen are nearby and theyre more damage efficient than the totem/some fire nodes anyway. the build is just too well suited for this setup and u only lose minimal armor/totem survivability in exchange

im at 85 at the moment and play it with a 1 hander and a shield, (no arctic armor neccesary, dps and survivability is very good or even better than using searing touch? idk. i have 9450 dps at the moment and 3 level ups left over, each one gives about +700 dps (edit: its +1000 dps i have leveld up once now and got 10500 dps, 2 level up left now)

next passive points will go into "aegis" in the marauder shield zone.
