Vaal Pact?Need Help!

Vaal Pact remove all the HP regen from flasks.So I have the question what if the flask has another effect?Like the magic flask I'm using that boost some Element Resis...Does it completely make the flask useless?Or just the regen factor?

If potions have no effect, and if potion gives you resists while potion is in effect (restoring your hp) .. I think they are useless mate.
