Elemental Equilibrium-Totems and Minions

Given:It's obvious if I cast arctic breath at a monster it will have +25% cold, and -50% light/fire for a period of time.

1. Does the same hold true if I cast arctic breath in a totem? Do things hit by arctic breath coming out of my totem also get the same debuff as mentioned above?

2. Do things my zombies/spectres hit with elemental damage also proc EE?
