Spell block on minions? Do minions come with shields sometimes?

If I have an item that gives my shield 50% chance to block spells. Will my minions have 50% chance to block spells with necromatic aegis?

Im not sure if the actual block ability is given to my minions. If not, are there any minions that uses shields? Can zombies or skeletons spawn with shields?

I think the skellies have shields, I don't think they actually *use* them, I mean unless they get the necromantic aegis bonus.

What Im wondering is if skeletons that spawn with shields actually get the ability to block. 50% chance to block spells unique item would be great for summoner builds if so imo. But its hard to know 100% without alot of testing/playing or a dev confirming it :S

NA gives all the benefits of your shield to the minion.
Minions even if they don't have a shield get the ability to block.
But because they don't have a shield, they use the 'flinch' animation.
If the shield says 50% chance to block spells then your minions get that.

Don't forget, with NA you yourself no longer get the benefits of the shield, not even the fact of 'wearing' a shield, so no Shield Charge is possible.

Unfortunately not.

While your minions benefit from your shield as if they were equipped with it themselves, all modifiers that buff your own shield use (spells, passive nodes, items) do nothing because they apply to you, and you don't have a shield equipped.
