Lost my characters and everything

Hi all, no idea if this is the right place or not, but I just lost everything on my account. No signs of it being hacked, nothing changed elsewhere, I even played this morning, and now I lost everything. I can't even make the same name character as before, so does that mean it still exists? Please help or direct me to where i can go since I am a new player and have a lvl 40 witch that was just starting cruel. I know its young and most people would say start over, but I would hate to start over, esp for no reason. Thanks for any help in advance
