Monster skill not displaying

Not sure if there is threat about this topic but i will create one.

So what happening is monster skill are not displaying and my character still loosing hp/es. This thing usually happen during boss fight like piety or shock and terror. Whats happening is im getting attaked by off screen attak which is not displaying on my screen. In other word i dont see skill effect on screen from attaks like lighting storm(piety) or lighting beam (shock and terror). During this events i dont see any skill effects on my screen only my hp/es dropping down. How can i dodge skills when i cannot see it??
