Lost Passive Point Due to Disconnect

Not sure if this is the right place to post this...

I had just killed Oak and went back to town to get my point. I talked to the old man and my skill point got added before I could click on it to use it I got disconnected. I waited about 10 minutes, logged back in and it was gone. Talked to Old guy again and I didnt get the point. Is there any way to get it back?
