Map drops ninja nerfed?

I don't believe random gets this random. The last four or so days have been ridiculous in terms of map drops. What seriously rang my alarm bells was when I did 4x74 Gorges yesterday and all were rolled with 90% or more IIQ (some with pack/rare/magic monsters) and got absolutely no maps at all. I don't mean no good maps, I mean no maps at all, not a single 66 even.

I cannot ever remember an occurrence in the past months where I ran two or more 90%+ maps and didn't get ANYTHING at all.

Furthermore, in the last 10-15 74 maps I've run I haven't gotten a single +1 map. Something's going on here.

I ran 2 76s last night and got 2 74s, 2 78s, a 75 and a couple 70s. I think the game just decided to say fuck you to your map drops momentarily.

Random means random (or as close as a computer can get), and your sample size means nothing.

There was no ninja nerf. Map drops were already crap, and going 4 maps without a drop, even at 90%+ iiq, is far from unheard of.

I know I've gone 3 maps several times with that happening, don't know if I've ever had it happen 4 times.

A few months ago, ive had about 3 months into which every friday (the day i can play the most) i would never get a single map + 1 drop. Thats about 12 Fridays of about 8+ hours (roughly 20 maps each) of gaming. Thats quite a big sample. During these months i would get like 4-5 maps every maps that i ran on Wednesday (the day i can barely play). Needless to say that when you don't get a single map upgrade after 8 hours of mapping, you get really frustrated as you witness your map pool shrink considerably.

Not sure if that was just bad RNG but with that sample size it looked like "RNG" more than real RNG.

Those were all alched maps with IQ varying from 50% to 125%.
