curse on hit work several times with certain skills?

curse on hit with for example arc, firestorm etc. can it proc on every hit of the skill, or only once per cast of the skill?

" The wiki http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Curse_On_Hit claims it needs to be an attack, not a spell. Could be wrong though. |

Not sure if Curse on Hit will trigger with Spells, but I do know that the chance of Curse on Hit to trigger is rolled per individual target. For example, your character uses Split Arrow + Curse on Hit + Temporal Chains. Although one cast of Split Arrow shoots multiple arrows in a fan-shaped AoE, each individual arrow has its own chance to proc Temporal Chains.
Also remember that Curse on Hit removes the curse's AoE effect and, therefore, will only trigger on single targets. Also note that if you have multiple curses linked to Curse on Hit, each curse will roll their chances individually as well. |
