Reroll or farm Orbs?
So I managed to make a fairly inefficient Ranger that can still kill, just not very quickly. Got to Act 3 with the help of a Marauder friend and was wondering if rerolling would be better than slowly farming orbs of Regret as I play?
Does it get easier to acquire them as the game progresses? So far I can afford 2, which is rather depressing. |

You will get a total of around 20 refunds if you complete all quests in 3 difficulties.

Are there stones to reset? I think I found one in Closed Beta.

Orbs or regret and a few quests are the only way to re-spec your character. You can buy an orb or regret with 2 orbs of scouring. As for re-rolling, if you havn't gone too far up the tree, what you have wouldn't be too terribly bad if you have some form of sustain. Ranger solo is far harder than in a party, as they take the fight to you.

You'll probably be able to respec basically however you want (unless you're going in an entirely different direction) with the 20ish free respec points you get from quests, but after that you're stuck farming orbs of regret if you want to make further changes. If you're just at the beginning of Act III and you really want to make extensive changes, you're probably best just starting over. If all the time you've been playing so far has only gotten you the means to afford a few orbs, then that time is probably better spent replaying to that point than getting a few more orbs.
