Questing with a group

I joined someone's group and they were ahead of me on the quests, and when I tried to do my quests, the places were already cleared. There is no way I can progress on my character because where I have to kill someone, shes already dead. How do I revert this so I can progress on my quests. Or is there anyway to even revert this

You can ctrl-click on an area transition to create a fresh instance with the quests not yet completed.

Also try starting your own party!
You'll start caught up with the objectives, and give others like yourself the opportunity! There aren't enough public questing parties that aren't full of mute stragglers. :( Lady Luck Loves a Trust Fall
