How to reserve unlimited auras - no soul taker required and thorough explanation

All these explanations here are shit and claim you need soul taker and whatnot so here's a proper guide.

Steps:

1. Take two auras that are of the same type (2x clarity, 2x grace, 2x vitality... doesn't matter). They need not be the same level.
2. Link one with reduced mana, have the other one unlinked.
3. Take another (different) aura and link this aura with the same reduced mana that you just linked your other aura to. You should now have a 3-Link consisting of 2 different auras + reduced mana and a single unlinked socket with a copy of one of your auras linked to reduced mana.
4. Activate the aura you want to run for free first, it has to be the reduced mana version
5. Activate the other aura that is linked to the same reduced mana. Step 4 and 5 can be reversed.
6. Now you need to be sure that you do not have sufficient mana available to run the unlinked copy of your aura linked to reduced mana. If you have too much mana remaining you can run another aura to lower it, but this aura may not be linked to the 3L. I don't know why, it just doesn't work.
7. When you made sure you do not have enough mana to reserve the copy of the aura that is linked to reduced mana, you cast the copy of the aura while the original aura (linked to reduced mana) is still active. The aura linked with reduced mana will turn off, but the copy of the aura (unlinked) will be active and reserve no mana.
8. Repeat until maxed out on all auras + tempest shield.
