Lags at every second location.

Look, I'm really thankfull that you're trying to help, but I have the feeling you didn't read the thread thoroughly - no offence. I really know what I am talking about, I already attached the client.txt log you mentioned to show that I'm entering the SAME MAP SERVER and to let you compare the time I got the DC with the latency I had that time in the pingplotter to this very server.

The issue we are all having is connecting to THE SAME SERVER (one map, entering portals and exiting them). One time you get in it's 50ms no lags at all - and it stays this way till we exit the map (minutes, hours, time doesn't matter). The other time - entering THIS SAME MAP ON THE SAME SERVER - it's unplayable lag, 160ms constantly peaking to ~2k ms and often disconnecting. It stays this way till we exit this map AND ENTER IT AGAIN (again minutes, hours, time doesn't matter).

I do appreciate your replies, they're the only interest we've gotten for a few weeks now.

I have the same issue here, some latency problem when i enter in new map. Once the map is created lags persist, i have to leave and create a new map instance to solve problem.

And it's random, i can do few maps without problem or have 2 laggy that follow. The guy above talk about one server that may have problem, if there are some kind of load balancing it explain.


I haven't seen this lag issues before today.

I also have exact same problem. I'm connecting through a EU gateway. Called my ISP just to be sure and they say everything is fine on their end.

Sometimes it gets frustrating to re-enter the same map just to get the normal ping instead of 300+ms with spikes to 2000ms or just get D/C.

I just found something that might help, in this thread http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/103073 is described how to connect usuing VPN which bypass all filters made by our networks providers. The new problem with that method is constant ping around 120ms but so far it didn't change for me when i enter new instances so it can be half-fix. That proves that's obviously problem with our network providers, so my question now is what should I tell them, that PoE is lagging and i want them to fix it? How to explain our problem to network provider?

I don't know if i was an problem with my ISP or if GGG did something, but after 2 hours in game today i haven't seen any lags

Thanks for info. Sadly it didnt helped me, exact same problem still occur. Probably my ISP is just cr**.

We're still having the problem.
