Game is unplayable!

So I participated in the first Closed Beta of Path Of Exile and it had some bugs that I had encountered but I reported all of them at least several times.
After getting the game to download (a hard task of fighting with Checking Resources) I was anxious and excited to play the open beta.
This is a number of issues I am experiencing at the moment:
1. Being stuck at checking resources while waiting for the game to launch
2. Being stuck at Contacting server while trying to log in/join the game/go to a different zone/pick a character
3. Enormous lagspikes (I have a 12mb/s internet)
4. Random dissconects from the game
5. being unable to contact the game server

I am aware that this is a beta but I had seen and reported most of these bugs months ago and they still aren't fixed.
But even if it is an open beta these bugs make this game absolutely unplayable which is a shame as this is game has allot of potential and I would like to play it.
I am also certain that there are others that are having these problems and I would like to know if there is a way to fix these issues.
I have 32bit Win 7 with 12 mb/s internet,I tried packchecking and it did absolutely nothing.

ditto on the unplayable. never had problems like this in closed beta.

I can stand in place and chat no problem, but as soon as I approach a mob I'm rubber-banding and get disconnected with the message "An unexpected disconnection occurred." In-game ping is 50-60ish with spikes to 100.

Haven't been able to get to town on any char. When I log back in, I'm lying on the beach again with the original quest guy waiting for me. I have SEVEN heavy strike gems/driftwood clubs due to this.

Windows 7 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Radeon HD 5750 1GB vid card, and my cable is testing around 7Mbps/2Mbps with sub-40ms pings.

The problems you are experiencing seems very similar to what I have explained in this post:

Check if the problems you are experiencing are the same.
I hope this problem will get fixed ASAP, as it did not exist before Open beta patch.

I ran the packcheck, received no errors, but afterward the game played just fine. I still get mild lag spikes, but no rubber-banding or disconnects since the packcheck.
maybe that'll help someone else, I dunno.

Game is unplayable for a lot of players and there is no support being given.

The longer this goes on, the greater the chances of this game failing before it has a chance to prove itself.

I have also participated the closed beta, never had such kind of a problem. I always try to keep calm in open beta. Global chat is annoying as hell, so I hide it always. Disconnections occur every now and then. I am repeating to say my self to keep calm. Be cool. Keep calm. "It is Beta". But man...

Yesterday night I was heading down Lunaris Temple levels. You know, the way point is on the second floor. I cleared Barracks and Lunaris Temple's first two levels for 4 times. Every time I reach second level, just before clicking the god damn way point, I got disconnected. "Keep CALM". Log in... Instances were reset. OK. Clear Barracks again. Clear first two levels of Lunaris Temple again. BAAAAMMMM. Disconnect. OK. Keep CALM. Instances were reset. OK. Clear Barracks again. Clear first two levels of Lunaris Temple again. BAAAAMMMM. Disconnect. OK. Keep CALM. Instances were reset. OK. Clear Barracks again. Clear first two levels of Lunaris Temple again. BAAAAMMMM. Disconnect. OK. Keep CALM. Instances were reset. OK. same exact problems for me as the original post. tried to completely uninstall and reinstall the game, but nothing's changed.

also ran a PackCheck, but it doesnt seem to progress past "Checking pack file Content.ggpk"


i'll probably give it a day or two before i give up on this game...
