Firewall Issues

I dont understand why i have to drop my firewall to play your game. In some ways thats sketchy.
Which firewall software do you use? We'll contact them about allowing an exception for Path of Exile.
Balance & Design
I have had huge problems working out why the patch client was so bad for me.

I think I have finally fount the issue. Avast active shields appear to have been blocking it. I had added PoE to windows firewall exceptions and thought this accounted for that type of blocking. I had to disable Avast's shields to finish my download. Two days worth of frustration with the client resolved I hope.

I recommend to use Comodo Firewall. It is really good and safe .World's #1 free Firewall that finds threats and protect your PC

Fast and hassle-free online experience
Blocks all Internet attacks
Monitors in/out connections
Manages traffic on your PC
Secures all connections when you are online
I use Kerio.
Antivirus and Windows Firewall are disabled.
Added ip range 37.58.67.208 - 37.58.67.223 and enabled *everything* for it (protocol analyzer tells me that I'm sending and receiving packets to/from .210 and .211 ).
Nothing changed, still 'unable to connect to the login server'. I guess I'm doing everything wrong, so please tell me how to make proper settings.
Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for a reply =)

If you use a router - did you check the firewall-settings there?

I found that opening UDP port 12995 allowed patching on the client, hope that helps.
