DDO similarity? Tough learning curve? Boring?

Does anyone else think the skill system is similar to DDO? I mean no matter what class you start as you arent restricted to thier specific abilites, im so not used to it from playing WoW and other games like it.
I got really bored with DDO because of that so i hope the skill/class system isnt THAT similar.

It's not very similar to DDO at all, the only respects I think it's similar to DDO is that every class can use every skill, but even DDO has a more restrictive setup(you won't see a high INT spellcasting fighter in DDO), there's more freedom here than DDO.

this is an isometric ARPG, DDO is a 3rd person MMORPG.
