Cast on Critical Strike

Heya,

Found a loophole bug talking to another player with the popular support gem cast on critical strike.

The description says;

"

Supported Attacks have a 30% chance to Cast Supported Spells when you Crit an Enemy

I have made the word attacks bold for a reason, Currently spells that were cast for free with Cast on Critical Strike are able to proc another cast on critical strike. I figured from the descriptions only skills with the 'Attack' category could trigger the gem. But currently any spell can.

Example if I had Spectral Throw, Firestorm, EK & Cast on critical strike linked the firestorm that was cast for free could proc more EK's. I have confirmed this myself ingame.

Literally it is possible to link Spectral Throw, Firestorm, EK, Cast on critical strike AND increased critical strikes OR increased duration together, causing one throw to proc infinite(as long as there is mobs) Firestorm's and EK's. That can be stacked until the client is frozen from too many effects.

I suggest it be fixed so that only crits from skills marked 'Attack' can proc the skill.

Have any proof? Video?
Or is it just "theorycrafting"?

Because your "combo" won't work. EK isn't an attack, and can't trigger CoCS itself and cast again. Nor Firestorm

Spells casted from CoCS can't trigger infinte CoCS right now. (as i said, video proof pls)
This "trick" can now be done with CwDT and Firestorm (for example) while fightning with Blackguard guys buffed with lighhtning Thorns. There is video also

CoCS can't do this, and simple reason "why" - because it don't have 100% chance to proc (like CwDT)


P.S. why people still try to "nerf" CoCS... I wonder ^_^
