Gems and links
All support gems will be listed in order of importance. The main DPS comes from FIRST shocking mobs with lightning trap which prolifs, and then fire trapping them. Main DPS = Fire trap --> Fire penetration - multiple trap - iron will with 5 link add increased burning dmg with 6 link remove burning and add both conc effect and increased area of effect 2ndary = Lightning trap --> ele prolif - multiple traps - iron will Single Target = bear trap --> added fire damage --> culling strike then whatever you want (like rarity or some shit) Auras - Clarity around level 10, Grace, linked with reduced mana Offskills - Enduring cry and Elemental Weakness are a MUST, you can also use decoy totem or rejuv totem situational Optional DPS - since deerhunter boots are so good for this build I suggest butting EK in them (they become a trap) linked with --> added fire --> Culling Strike or Iron WIll --> blind
Gear
You're going for HP and mana regen mainly. you HAVE to have mad mana regen if you want max effectiveness. Maxing resists are a must as always Spell damage and Fire damage are the damage rolls you want. Go for straight evasion pieces with 1 GOOD ES piece for that boost in mana from EB

Now level 82 running 72 maps with some buddies.
Working out pretty well, not insane dmg but the DoT from fire trap and the triple stacked shocks work well in a party. |
