Headsets

I'm currently using Turtle Beach Dx11's but am sorely tempted to get Astro A40's.
Has anyone owned both sets that can give some feedback on your impressions?
I like the X11's(I have the 5.1 surround box Dx11's) but feel that they are flimsy in build quality.
I have a friend that has A30's and felt the overall build on the headset themselves was superior to the TB's.

Thanks in advance!
I've used A40 at invitational lanparty. All i can say that headset is comfortable, but sound quality is not so great when you look at how much it cost. My good old Sennheiser PC350 headset sounds a bit better (talking from my personal experience).
Btw there is no good True Surround headset at the moment on the market. Most of surround headsets is just big advertisement bubble, cuz surround is software generated using standard stereo output with sound frequency adjustments. Basically it fools your brain to archieve surround sound.
Any decent soundcard can do that with any headset. So in my opinion there's no need to spend money on overpriced "surround" headset when you can archieve same results with a good quality stereo headset.

P.S foam cushion on headsets is a fucking dust magnet.

Ya, I know surround is mostly a gimmick. I don't buy into the multiple drivers in headphones either.
I use them alot on xbox live in games like Black Ops. I can't tell the difference between the Dx11's and my Razer Carcharias tbh (I ran them through my amp which is 5.1).
I got the setup for $100 new so I guess I should just be happy with what I have and spend the extra $100 elsewhere :)
I had a nice set that were stolen, and I replaced them with a $10 pair of uhh SONCM's ... they work great, no problems, and I could replace them 10x over without costing as much as 'better' headsets.
