Client in steam

If I run PoE alone everything is normal, but if I run PoE through Steam client for the overlay, there are no animations to any graphics. I can click where I want to go, minimize the screen and then maximize the screen and everything will have moved but on the screen itself nothing will ever move unless I minimize first.

This ONLY happens when running the game through steam launcher.

Sorry to hear that, I run the game through steam all the time and have never had this problem. Has anyone else that has run the game through steam?

From what I'm seeing you have to contact GGG to get them to tie in the account. It appears that the standalone and Steam varieties are different. I use an account out of Steam and just bought the wallet but can't get any of my characters, or the money to tie in with my original account.
I too will have to contact them.

i was reading another post on steam where the guy was getting a whole host of errors and crashes but only through the steam version.

Possibly running on the minimum or lower specs than recommended and having steam running tipping it over(in terms of ram usage)...but who knows, could be something else...i've been using steam since it was available and had no problems.
