Blackguard archmage damage?

Blackguard lightning based mages are punching through my 73% lightning resist? I don't know whether or not the patch did something or not but last night I was just fine fending them off; today it is a nightmare, I've died probably 5 or 6 times in cruel mode, I have 3k DPS with my Dual strike as a Shadow, and 1300 standard dps with regular default attacks. The desync puts me out of place for 1 second and I get bursted down by these guys.

Have you guys noticed anything?

why do u use default attacks in cruel mode?

Yeah, I was getting annihilated almost instantly by them as well. But, then again, I have low survivability (75% light res, but only about 2.2k hp in merc). I was also having a bit of trouble with the bugs in city of sarn, which i didn't have any trouble with before the patch.

They were nerfed to oblivion at release, they need a massive buff.

If your fucking dying to their normal arc shit something is wrong now if your dying to LIGHTNING THORNS well then that's another story.
