Vendor Recipe to Reset <20% Gem Desperately Needed

I realize I can reset a 20% gem to level 1 with a GCP, but this should be extended to ALL gems. Sometimes just starting over is easier than spending 10 scouring on a quality gem to reset it. I don't follow other people's specs at all, don't even look at them, and I am building characters by trial and error which entails starting over sometimes. Having the ability to reset to level 1 a quality gem other than 20% would be really useful and not impact balance or the economy.

Footnote: I play the trading game as that is what GGG wants, but even though they are opposed to it, a self found league with higher drop rates would be a LOT more fun for a big portion of your audience including me, and would be fairly straightforward to implement. It would seem that GGG would want as many players as possible and a self found league WOULD attract a larger base, who WOULD also buy microtransactions. Finding an item is infinitely more fun then grinding orb currency and buying it.

What do you mean trade them in? If I have a say +14% quality gem and I want to reset it I have no way to do this/ I am not looking to downgrade to a level 1 no quality gem

Or you can level up chars with ST/FP and then use the gems.

Either that or don't level up non-spell gems.
