FPS drop in a good PC

Im experiencing some huge fps drops with any grapical settings and in any maps. Just formated PC and installed lastest drivers. The FPS stays very high (or ~60 with vsync ON) and just drop to ~20 and backs to high fps.

My rig is:

i7 3770k
ATI 7850 2GB
16GB RAM
SSD

Tried to run game in ramdisk to check it was SSD, but no sucess.

I suspect VGA (driver, configuration)

thanks.

any tip?

First I would check your temps under load. Cpu and Gpu.

I would then run a hd speedtest with hdtune.

Make sure ati overdrive is unchecked in your CCC options. (I know of known dual monitor issues)

Also when you try different drivers, make sure you use full uninstaller and run a driver scrubber in between with reboots.

I am running ati, using the latest beta drivers. Post back if you need more info on any of these.

This is just a start.
low temps, amd overdrive unchecked.

im having the same problem, even if i turn down all settings FPS doesnt move its a constant 9 - 11 which is horrid...i played d3 on max settings at 30 fps the lowest...using 12.11 beta driver didnt work :/
12.11 worked, i meant didnt help it

What settings are you trying to run the game on?

Are you forcing anything on in the drivers?

Have you tried the no sound option? I have read about sound causing lag somewhere.

Have you run a hd performance tester? Like hdtune?
ive run the game with all settings down and at 1600x900 and fps stays the same, not aware of anything being forced on the drivers and yes tried the nosound option..no i havent run a HD performance program

these are my temps and stuff:
Processor Voltage :
Voltage : 1.363 V

Processor AMD A6 : Sensor DTS
Core 1 : 21.6 °C
Energy Power : 30.80 W

AMD Radeon HD 6530D : ATI Catalyst Driver
Temperature : 17 °C

Hard Disk Monitoring : S.M.A.R.T
Hard Disk ST310005 24AS : 28 °C

Those can't be your temps under load. Which makes them worthless.

Have to use something like prime95 to load out cpu. (many guides on this)

And firmark or kombuster to load out your gpu. (many guides on this)

I found some info on 7*** radeon cards.

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=368290

So you could try underclocking graphic clock and mem clock.
