White Item Filter

Hi,

I had white items display by default disabled in the options. After the patch, they removed this option. I'd like to re-enable it....as of now I have to hold ALT to see white items.

How can I re-enable them by default?

You can re-enable by going into the PoE ini file called "production_Config.ini"

To find it on Win7 (as that's what I have :D):

Open Start menu
Go to Documents
In My Documents, go to My Games
Find Path of Exile and the file will be there.

Alternatively, replace "Your Name" with whatver name you use on your computer:
C:\Users\"Your Name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile


Find the Line:

filter_white_items=

Change to false or true.

I really wish GGG would consider reenabling you to set this option in the UI. Always Highlight with Filtered White items is IMHO the best way to set that option: You never miss the important items, but it's not quite as spammy as always highlight with no filter.

I had the same problem... I was filtering all the white items and then after reading the patch notes I decided I probably should display them, but even though the option was gone it was still applied for me...

Ive got some chance orbs and other mats to make white items rare so why not, right?
