Last 5 beta invites
Were all given to people that only visited site once, did not participate on forums in any way and probably forgot about this game as of now.
Shouldn't be beta keys given away based on something that players have control of? Say forum posts, time spent waiting etc.? Or try and create competition in which participants have chance of winning the key. Current system just buggles my mind. The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

I agree. some of them haven't even been to the site since they singed up. This is what angers me. they give the beta key's to people who don't even care enough about the game to at least visit the sight ONCE after singing up.

i guess the idea is simple..
if the the invited is inactive, they invite some more in random... if the invited is active, they dont need to... its all about the matter of balance |

TBH there should be a system in place which only gives keys to active forum members bullshit about oh this person comes online to just look at the forums what type of beta tester is that lol beta means feedback not just playing the game
How YA LIKE ME NOW!

True but most people perceive beta as some form of demo: trying the game as early as possible then deciding whether is worth their time.
I've been in a lot of betas and tons of members just stop playing after a day or two (because they don't like what they see) or indeed, continue playing like it was a full version and not giving any feedback. |

I think the system they developed with the beta key timer etc is very unique and works in a good way, and actually made me more attracted to the game.
