Improve Crafting based 1.0.1 patch
So with the latest patch there were some recipees included with which you can make a flat physical or elemntal damage weapon. The higher the weapon itemlevel the higher the affix tier can be.
But why stop there? Why not give players the option to craft exactly what they want? And on that note, what do players want? Certain affixes on gear and certain amount of affixes. Currently there's only the above mentioned weapon recipe, that is known atleast. Wouldn't it be great if players could do that on armour and jewelry aswell? How it could be done: - Item + Augmentation + Crafting material(s) + higher tier orbs(orbs are excluded from step 1) For higher tier orbs needed to craft it could look like this: - 2nd mod = Alteration - 3rd mod = Alchemy - 4th mod = Chaos - 5th mod = Exalted - 6th mod = Exalted The crafting proccess would still apply, meaning you have to alternate between preffix and suffix when crafting. This would then also determine which higher tier orb you need for upgrading the affix tier. Now there are a lot of items ingame so i'll try to come up with some of the most desired or hated stat combinations we could use when crafting. Weapon Materials:

I hope nothing like this will be ever implemented because it would ruin this game in less then 1 week. What is the point of playing a game about loots when you can't drop anything better then you can craft from cheap shit?

" Exactly. I may have failed to mention that in my post. " How can you say that crafting would be cheap when you need high enough itemlevel crafting material(item) so you can get the next mod tier. Not to mention the examples i gave are simple and maybe cheap when it comes to some gems. For instance, desirable mods like attack speed could need an item with higher attack speed mod then your current item has. Anyway it might be cheap at first glance but the time invested to get all the materials would be decent, and if nothing else you'd have something to show after 500h+ played. Would be awesome. Maybe have recipes hidden through out the campaign that are more like hidden side quests you can find. A bit more incentive to fully explore areas.

No. Casual players like you who only complain instead of playing the game are what ruined other games. You can't even see the impact what this would have on the game, the only issue is that you don't get drops and thought to make a post, maybe you will get some items you see on streams.
