Need Help with Power Siphon Build

I want to make a Power Siphon Witch build and i was wondering if it is even possible.... could someone help me like with how the build would work... and if i did work would it be worth it, would it put out a good amount of damage?

This is a rough outline of what I would do for the build; basically I'd go CI with dual spork totems (spell totem with spark and the fork support gem) and cast Power Siphon (use Chain and added elemental damage supports) while the totems distracted/shocked the enemies. Alternatively, use one spork totem and one decoy totem and do the same thing. CI is so I can run blood rage for the four extra frenzy charges so I can kill a little faster. Power Siphon in this example relies upon elemental damage for the actual damage output.

I would use Discipline and Clarity beyond a doubt, and might add Wrath and Anger for additional elemental damage.

Edit: with the potentially incoming change to CI and blood rage working together, you might just skip the extra frenzy charge and using that particular skill. Also, you might consider substituting the spork totems for ice spear totems. Also, you might consider grabbing double curse up top for added flexibility in nuking mobs quickly.

For reference, this build is a very rough witch spec of Kripp's Templar Power Siphon build.

Edit #2: (I'm indecisive)
If you do not want to go CI:

This doesn't pick up dual totems, so I would use a Decoy totem until you picked dual totems up (unless you don't want to).

the build of a lvl78 witch, an actual finished character

this is a basic description of the build I wrote while levelling so a lot of the numbers are outdated

After that I made it go to 15k dps in the tooltip, but it wasn't needed so I put mf gems in and played with 6k.

Will be my main character in open beta unless balance changes kill it.
@drakar8888 How often do you hit a reflect mob with a crit and insta-kill yourself? 700% Crit multiplier is nice, but seems pretty risky when blind-firing with a chained attack. (I'm wondering because I want to do a build like this in Hardcore).

With the energy shield I had (4.5k-ish)if I met a reflect mob it took about 4-5 shots to kill myself. So the mob either died in those hits and the reflect was gone. Or I had time to react and back-off and recharge and it would die in two attempts. I even did a reflect map or two to test, never one-shot myself but had to make pauses every 5 mobs or so to recharge. I think if you can afford the top tier gear reflect won't be any problem cos your ES pool will give you plenty of reaction time. Like 10k+ ES.

From what I have read on the forums the people having most trouble with reflects are crit life builds running 2.5k life or less. It is pretty much the difference between having 4-5 hits to react or having only 1-2.

I say if you don't die during levelling, the build will be pretty safe for end-game hardcore. Plus seeing how it goes through 2/3 of the skill tree you can make many tweaks to lower your dps in favour of more defences.

But we will see what happens in the future cos in open beta I am expecting changes in the way pure ES builds work and I can see good odds that temporal chains will be scrapped from the game(cos never expiring quality temporal chains makes enemies so slow they can never reach you ever).

That makes sense, thank you for clarifying. I'll probably be trepidatous about a pure ES/CI build for open beta hardcore, and I'll certainly be more focused on survivability than damage.
