Minion summoning weapon swap [Need help]

Hi guys, so I have been searching this forum a lot but I couldn't get an answer. So I decided to ask for help regarding summoning of minions while swapping weapon.

The problem I have now is that I summoned zombies with a summoner's weapon, and when I went back to town to switch weapons the zombies end up dead right at the next map where I appear. How exactly do I do the swapping of gear while keeping my minions alive?

If the gear you swap has the gems of any of the minions, then they will die.

If you have a weapon that affects the stats of the zombies (like queens decree) then you have to keep it out to keep thie + minions stats on em, otherwise they will die when weapon swapping.


This was implemented to keep consistency with uniques (like the +aura level unique that everyone was abusing a bit back)

I see, so I will have to keep the summon zombie and summon spectre gem with my gear in the end right?
