Point Blank simply does not work

I recently got the Point Blank keystone passive, but it didn't seem to have any effect on my dmg, regardless of how far away from the mobs I was shooting. I then decided to further augment my poison arrow gem with the Point Blank support gem to further increase close range damage. I swear, I've done a ton of testing, and this skill just does not work. Regardless of how near/far I am from the mobs, I always deal the same damage, unless I deal a crit. Anyone else with the same problem?

I'm not sure exactly how you tested it, but I don't think poison arrow is the best choice because a lot of its damage comes from the resulting DOT cloud which I'm guessing is not affected by Point Blank

Yeah well Point Blank only affects the damage of the actual Projectile of Poison Arrow wich is an incredibly minor part of it's damge output.
Thats probably why you haven't noticed a difference, try it out with something else like Lightning Arrow if you want to see actual effects.

They don't stack, none of them do.

They don't stack, none of them do.

I know about support gems not stacking with each other, but a support gems not stacking with a passive? Are you sure?

Point blank keystone is just free point blank gem for every range attack skill. They just can't stack together.

Yes Support gems and relative Keystone passives don't stack.

Poison (chaos) damage of the poison arrow is a debuff and is not affected by Point blank. The initial arrow will scale with Point Blank though.

Point blank works. You can test it with burning arrow. Shoot across the screen and facetank a mob. The damage greatly differs. Point Blank +50% bonus damage range is very close. Almost melee range.
