2 Hand marauder in desperate need of survivability advice

Hey guys I was hoping some of you more experienced marauders could give me some advice on how i can up my survivability. I dont yet have my elemental resists capped but they are close fire-63% cold-70% lightning-63%. I currently have one free skill point and 2 respec points. If anyone could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Below is a screen shot of my Defence tab
I would recommend that you prioritize life and life leech and looking for resists and flat hp/armor on your items instead of specing into specific resist nodes (+all resist nodes are good though). Getting things such as warlords mark, enduring cry, and granite flasks will also help you increase your survivability. Getting keystones such as unwavering stance and iron reflexes will also greatly increase your suriviability. If you choose to use iron reflexes, start leveling grace aura and use that for bonus evasion (which is turned into armor). Getting the blood drinker node will give you some passive life leech as well. Going out through out the skill tree looking for only elemental resists is much less effective than focusing on hp/armor.

TL;DR
Elemental resists do not effect physical damage which is likely what is killing you.
HP (life leech) + Armor + Resist + Endurance Charges = Tanky Character
Unwavering stance, Iron Reflexes, and Resolute technique are good for 2h builds
Too be honest, personally i think your spec is really weird and pretty bad... no offense.
I would advice you to do a little research, and then start from scratch and build your character with the new knowledge.

You shouldn't focus on capping all your resists just yet. Untill you do some of the higher end maps that is...
The marauder i'm leveling atm is ~46, and is doing just fine with 17-32% resist.

You should begin by focussing on health a lot. You want to pick quite some nodes in the tree, and get some health on gear. I would recommend picking the 45 health from the quest in act 2 as well over the talent point. This will eventually become 100+ extra health after all the talents are applied.

This is the build i'm using currently:
Passive skill tree build

With this build your attacks will always hit, but can't crit. Which is a huge dps increase in general, not even considering you could have more usefull stats instead of crit and accuracy.

Blood magic is also really amazing, marauder attacks don't use an awefull lot of mana, and instead of some mana pots you can get some other flasks. I'm using 3 good health pots, 1 pot that has shitty healing, but applies it instantly and removes frozen and chilled, and 1 armor pot.

Unwavering stance and iron reflexes are an amazing combo as well, you can't get randomy stunned, which will save your ass many times, and all the wasted evasion rating will be converted to armor, which will also increase survivability.

For attacks im using currently:
Heavy strike with damage modifiers, dealing 1.1k dps atm with a pretty outdated weapon (early lvl 30 weap)

Ground slam with damage modifiers and life on hit, which returns a huge amount of healing on large packs

Infernal blow with increased quantity/quality. I'm using it to finish off strong mobs for better loot.

Leap slam for decent aoe dmg, skipping certain parts (jump over water and on ledges)

Enduring cry for protection during the harder fights.

Phase run for obvious reasons

@Meraxas
Why don't you take Blood Drinker?
It's the next talent i'll get probably.
Didn't really had any issues with health regen so far, got like 2-4% LL on gear at all times, im using my health pots a lot and 3.4% health regen/sec from talents, so i didn't really need it. I'd rather get iron reflexes and more health asap.
Now i got those talents i'll aim for blood drinker, lava lash, inc movement speed near iron reflexes and armor mastery starting from health of the gladiator.
Lava lash? But ur pure physical, don't you?

If you want to specialise in armor, why don't you take 'Steel Skin' next to Unwavering Stance instead of 'Armor Mastery'. Those 2 points will give you 40% instead of 18%.

But still I don't think concentrating on armor is good idea, since - in my opinion - armor means precisely shit. There are much more efficient ways of increasing physical reduction: like endurance charges.

I won't do it. For me skill point worths much more than 45 health I can get from equipment.

While I strongy suggest Unwavering Stance, I don't like Iron Relfexes, as... I've already said my opinion about armor.

Generally. Get tonnes of life, some reses, life on a hit (and optionally life leech). Personally I would give up with armor.
I see a few problems:
1. You focused too much on elemental resistance. You must get some LIFE NODES and LIFE regen nodes.
2. Do you use Endurance Charges at all?, you should consider getting the endurance charge passive node next to marauder starting nodes.
3. You use mana, probably you get out of mana pretty often. GET Blood Magic.
4. I bet that your Hit Chance is LOW, and this is your main problem. Because, you have to survive for longer time in order to kill an enemy.

Actually my hits can not be evaded and dmg is not a problem i kill things pretty fast 1 hitting most white mobs.
I havent really used endurance charges but might look into it.
and no my mana regen is pretty high my main attack does 1800 dps and only uses 14 mana my mana regen is higher than my attack.
Ah, you have that Unique Weapon. Well, then you should remove those nodes spent on accuracy.

That is what I am doing :-) but rerolling this close to open beta isn't that great of an idea. I am trying to learn from my mistakes now and will use the knowledge i get in open beta. I have only been playing a little over a week there are to many other characters to explore to want to level the same toon again just to have it wiped shortly after.
