Frost Archer Scion (EB, MoM, AA)

I want to present you my Scion Frost Archer build:

Build Stage: beta
Difficulty: semi-pro
Costs: ~20ex

This is not a guide yet!

Skills:

Offense:
This build is about utilizing Ice Shot, Frenzy and Rain of Arrows as main skills:
You will deal a mix of physical and cold damage.
Split Arrow is optional.

Defense:
Your defensive skills are Arctic Armor, Freeze Mine and Temporal Chains

Auras:
Clarity & Hatred

Skill links:

up to 6l
Ice Shot + weapon elemental Damage + faster Attacks + added Cold-damage + Cold-penetration
+ Life-leech

Rain of Arrows + faster projectiles + faster Attacks + increased AoE + concentrated Effect
+ Life-leech

3l or more

Frenzy + faster attacks + faster projectiles + Life-leech

Clarity + Hatred + reduced Mana ((( + Lightning Warp )))

Freeze Mine + increased AoE + elemental proliferation ((( + Temporal Chains )))

Passives:
You should aim for Eldritch Battery and Mind over Matter.
It is really important to get as much mana-regeneration as possible to use Arctic Armor in higher levels!

This is my Passive Tree for lvl 100

->280% increased Mana-reneration, 136% increased Mana
This should be enough to get a large Mana-pool and a high Mana-regeneration to run a level 12+ Arcitic Armor.
You do not need more than to run a Level 20 Arctic Armor.

In this passive Tree are %increased Life-regeneration passives included for more survivability - they can be respected.

Cut down the tree as you like. I do not think that s.o. would reach lvl 100 with this build.

Bandit rewards:
Normal: none
Cruel: Oak
Merciless: Kraityn

Items:

Your core items are:

Lioneye's Glare, Imperial Bow

Atziri's Foible, Paua Amulet

Shavronne's Revelation, Moonstone Ring

High Energy Shield -Armor/Evasion chest

Optional Unique
(--> important statistics)

Boots:
The Blood Dance, Sharkskin Boots --> %Health-Regenration per Frenzy Charge
Goldwyrm, Nubuck Boots --> %Mana-Regeneration, +10% Movement Speed
Wanderlust, Wool Shoes --> %Mana-Regeneration, +20% Movement Speed

Gloves:
Asenath's Gentle Touch, Silk Gloves --> +Mana, Temporal-Chains onHit

Helmets:
Alpha's Howl, Sinner Tricorne --> +2 to Aura-Gems, less mana reserved
Asenath's Mark, Iron Circlet --> %Mana-Regeneration, Attack Speed
Heatshiver, Leather Hood --> %Mana-Regeneration, +1 level of Cold-Gems
Mindspiral, Aventail Helmet --> Mana-gain per damage taken, increased Cold-damage

Specific Item stats of rare Items:

~
It is important to note that you need as much +Health and +Resistances as possible besides %Mana-Regeneration and Mana.
~

Added weapon elemental damage,
Increased evasion/ armor,
Added x elemental damage,

are nice boosts.

_____________

The use of this build

Simply spam your Ice Shot to create icy ground which slows enemies and their cast/attack speed - same goes for Temporal Chains.

If you use The Blood Dance, Sharkskin Boots you should keep up your Frenzy Charges to gain more %Health-regeneration. This gives you a significant boost to survivability!
Still low on life? - Kite and use your passive Life-leech with each attack.

This build makes kiting harder enemies very simple:
Arctic Armor leaves a trail of icy ground behind you which slows. Also your Ice Shot creates icy ground!
Your normal Auto-Attacks will slow because they do a high amount of Cold damage which chills your enemies.
Not enough slows? - Use Temporal Chains to make your slows even harder!

You need your slows to keep enemies away from you because your Health-pool wont go over 2,5k.
(Do not forget that MoM adds a significant amount of effective Health)

Could you please update the passive skill tree?
Do you think this build would work with Discharge?
thanks in advance.
