Blood magic fireball/curse witch

This is a build I thought of after playing this fireball CI/curse build

Blood magic may not be feasible, but I thought it would be an interesting mechanic to work around. No longer requiring mana, the build invests in HP nodes instead of CI/energy, branching down to the Marauder section of the skill tree to pick up Blood Magic. The build would require a high HP pool, HP regen (via passive talents and life on hit gem if needed), and would utilize the same damage concepts of the tri-curse, proliferated burning crit build referenced above. The general style of play for that character is to curse with flammability, temporal chains, and critical weakness; shoot an upgraded aoe fireball and watch as burn proliferates through the mob groups; repeat.

Build:

With some appropriate gear, this build might be a formidable opponent. Although, however much it may sound like an interesting way of playing the game, I'm not sure the validity or capacity of the witch character to achieve this build. Or if it's worth venturing that far down the skill tree.

I don't want to preach efficiency to be the ultimate principle for builds, but you should be aware that taking Blood Magic (and going life) wastes all the passive bonuses of your main stat: 302 INT give +151 mana and +60.4% increased ES. Oh and you won't be able to run auras (purity).
If you really want to take BM you should at least skip Deep Thoughts and the mana/mana reg nodes at the right starting branch of the witch. Start with the left branch (12% incr. spell damage).
Yeah I wondered if it may not be feasible at all...

Actually purity is the only aura you can run without spending a ton of your life to cast it.

As for a passive tree, you're going to spend a lot of points to go to blood magic but I think
you can do it since a caster doesn't need any of the 60% damage auras and with Iron Reflexes
and some good gear you can achieve a decent amount of armor.
To crit or not to crit ?
