How many GB's per month does PoE use?

Basically, I've got a limited internet useage package, i.e. I'm allowed 20GB of downloads per month. Except for a few hours during the night, where I've got unlimited download.

Would playing PoE make me cross my limit? Games like WoW and LoL take very little bandwidth and I've had no over-useage problems with them. Just wanted to make sure PoE works with my internet package too.

Plus, is there any way to reduce it's bandwidth or the amount of memory it takes? Like would avoiding PvP help or changing some settings in the Option menu?

Like most online games very little. In aggregate (tx+rx) it's about 8KB/s on average during gameplay.

As for bandwidth: Not really, no.

As for memory: Reduce resolution and texture quality settings for the greatest decrease in memory usage.

PoE uses very little, although for a more complete answer:

Install something like netlimiter (paid and caused constant BSODs on my other PC) or netbalancer (free, no issues.) It'll allow you to monitor how much bandwidth each process is using, as well as limit each process on download/upload speed. The free version of netbalancer will only allow you to limit five processes, although it's an unlimited trial so that's pretty fair.

With these you can play games without worrying that they'll kill your bandwidth as you can see how much they use/limit it. It's amazing how often you'll look at it and see somethings downloading an update in the background without you realizing it. Not anymore.
