"Crit Multiplier" 1h sword- shield Marauder

Build 1
Build 2(15% more crit mult in mara area, duelist Shield Mastery+Cruel Blade nodes missing)
Build 3(Less Duelist, More Templar; 2x Precisions, Discipline and Training, Legendary Swordman, Strong Arm.. more regene, more health, more damage, still good dex, but no IR and no second Diamond Skin and no Thick Skin)
1) HP
2) Crit damage
3) Accuracy
4) Damage
5) Attack Speed
6) Armor(IR)
7) DEX (to use swords)


Why swords?
Swords have alot of crit multiplier passives over all the three. To enable the crits we only need a diamond flask, since swords have a poor base critical rate.

Why swords over rapiers?
Not enough DEX to wield rapiers and swords have innate accuracy wich is really good for the mara.
Tho it could be interesting using rapier if there is enough DEX.

Why not use a Duelist then?
Mara starting point is better imho.



The build is about being tanky and having a good crit multplier, running a 2 hp-2 diamond-1 granite flask should be an optimal setup.
Heavy strike for single mobs, quality provides IAS wich is really good to maximize the 2s of the diamond flasks.
Obviously Cleave for AoE(or if you prefer, use leap slam :<).
Using Leap slam to initiate fights/travel anyway.
Endurance cry(yay), and I suggest combining it with warlord marks+ a IC+duration to get rid of granite flask for an other hp or diamond flask.
A rejuvenating totem is good too, and a molten shell+iron will could help in leveling.
Shockwave totem is really good too.
And since we use a 1h+shield, don't forget the viper strike+ shield charge combo
