Remote Mine + Trap Interaction with Zombies

I was wondering, do the more damage from Remote Mine and Trap stack? Was looking for a way to squeeze more damage out of zombies, and if they DO stack I'm defiantly replacing faster attacks with trap.
^ Still curious
I would expect that they stack multiplicatively, but can't say for sure.

I wonder if the mine/trap damage increasing passives work as well. There are a number of nice passives that increase both mine and trap damage, which would be amazing. Summoning zombies with traps sounds a bit cumbersome, but a several fold damage increase would be pretty juicy.

Nice, any one of those nodes is more than any 1 minion damage node pretty much. Some of those nodes happen to be along the way to the aura nodes a summoner would take anyways.

Unfortunately, I only found one node that is not out of the way for a summoner and is cost efficient

Expeditious Munitions (18% and a 36% node)

Man, there are some crazy nodes though that are just too deep for summoners to reach, like the 40% node saboteur (along with an 18% node). Clever Construction node is cost inefficient, 3 points for a 36% return, and Master Sapper is simply too weak and too far away.

Still almost tempted to go for Saboteur since its only 2 points away.
As I understand it (I'm a total newb though so I could be wrong) you would get much more than 40% damage from saboteur.

(((base damage + sum of mine damage increase passives)* remote mine gem damage)+ sum of trap damage increase passives)* trap gem damage

Lets say you're using a lvl 20 trap gem (39%) and a lvl 20 remote mine gem (48%) all with 0 quality. The formula would be,

(((1 + 0)* 1.48)+ 0)* 1.39 = 206% damage (rounded)

Add in saboteur and it becomes,

(((1 + 0.2)* 1.48)+ 0.2)* 1.39 = 275% damage (rounded)

It should be multiplicative with every other % damage boost you throw on them too, effectively creating a new base damage for the zombies.

edit: It might be calculated with the trap on the inside and the mine on the outside.
I could also be wrong and the passives aren't actually increasing the mine and trap damage respectively, but are actually increasing the damage of the skill ultimately being triggered (in which case the trap/mine passives would be additive with other "damage increase" sources like minion passives and equipment).

it's important to understand that the grammar used in the damage modifier descriptions is very important. The words "more" and "less" damage are multiplicative, where as "increased" and "reduced" are additive. The skill nodes effectively have the same value as an increased minion damage node but still worth it for a truly pure summoner build who doesn't plan to cast anything else. I'm considering speccing out of totems and into a pure summoner soon, leveraging traps and mines with nodes for more damage.
