1.0.0b Patch Notes

Can I just say that I dont think this is actually working. I have tested this on an item that was 5s5L and used a jewellers on it and it had reverted it to 1socket :(( . Could I get clarification please? This behaviour was pre 1.0 I do not understand if it was intended still. And if not could I get it back pls :P

I am under the impression of the following:
If you have a 5L, 6S item you can use a fusing
If you have a 5L, 5S item you cannot use a fusing,
If you have a 6S item you cannot use a jeweller's orb,
If you have a 6L item you cannot use a fusing or jeweller's orb.

for clarification: 5L5S can still have jeweller used IF and only if a 6th slot can potentially be added. this does not mean that it WILL go to 6S, just that it CAN. A 6S item cannot have a jeweller used on it. a 6L cannot have a jeweller or fuse used on it. 1 would assume that a 5L5S cannot have a fuse used on it regardless of capability to have 6 sockets.

now a question or 3... A) are you (GGG) aware that chat system is broken? cannot whisper without adding or using @ command on right click anymore. needs to be reintroduced so we can trade right, hard to track/read names in spam chat.
B) Why are some uniques remaining legacy and others getting nerfed with their new versions? kaom/shav/soul etc stay legacy but any unique shield got @$$raped in the patch. wasted so much orbage on shields that patch made completely useless, so thanks for the arbitrary decision on what is legacy and what isn't, who gets screwed over and who doesn't.

edit: just to be clear this B is not a complaint that my shields got nerfed, but rather that they were unfairly nerfed having been prepatch drops, while other items were left untouched by some half-followed policy on not getting rid of player achievements in the form of characters/items. Wipe not done cuz they didn't want to do it, uniques like kaoms left alone, but for some reason shields just apparantly aren't part of a player's achievements like every single other piece of gear in the game. they can try to claim mods are what they mean but onyx amulets with +20 base are still in existance and that is not a mod, that is a base stat, just as defence is a base stat on shields, so why is it that shields were @$$raped unlike EVERY other equipment slot item that has been modified to date? i really would like an answer on this.

I play Since 1997 million hours d1-2-expansion packs. and yes I am old :)
2500 hours or higher d3 (5 char plvl 60 or higher but bored)

cpu amd x975 mb asus m5a97 ram cors 8gb ddr3 vga amd 6970 os w7 64bit (2500-3000 hours play d3 1920-1080 max sett. 90-120ms 0 desyc np)
I test many char sc-hc-anar-ons.
bug,lag,crash,DESYC but ok waiting patiently full Version.
full version out.
I new ins. os
download and install new poe
play the game and boom. continues terrible full desyc.
eu srv : 99 - 115 ms full desyc not playable
us srv : 200 - 220 ms medium desyc but playable
Singapore srv : 430 - 470 ms medium desyc but playable
Australia srv : 380 -400 ms low desyc playable (but slow motion play not fun)
any help :(

my suggestion for game balance
all mana reserved % 99
player resist -1000000 monster resist + 100000000
player life max 100 monster life + 100000000
player armor -1000000 monster armor + 100000000
player speed -1000000 monster speed + 100000000
player damage max 100 monster damage + 100000000

Well I had fun re-applying my passives. My armor is green now-not sure I like it. Also, my fencer helm is invisible. When I put it on my duelist just looks bald.
