low download speed with updating

Me and My friend have really low download speed during update. will this be fixxed in the release?

download speed is nothing GGG can do about, your internet connection is slow.

well thats odd becaus all my other programs and patchers have normal speed. only poe patcher has low speed

ggg regularily buys additional bandwidth everytime a major update event is due. release is such an event. be assured everything will get smootly in 2 days. many new players updating over steam anyway.

Cool story. I have 100mb download speed and 10mb upload. Yet i cant downlaod this game with more than 1mb if even reaches 1mb. But ofcourse i do download what ever else with 10mb/s.


Steam will help tho.

OP, I'd give the steam servers a try once you can download the game there. It's very likely that they have more bandwidth than GGG, so your chances to reach your connection's maximum download speed will be better there.

It's very unlikely that your download time now compares to the one you have to expect when half of the world is trying to patch their game.

You know, last time I checked your local internet connection wasn't the only thing determining your download speed. I would be surprised if that has changed in the meantime.

That is if i uninstal the entire game, download the patcher and let it run from 0.

I might have to test this again because the game file is 1.5 gig smaller if i am not mistaken compared to the old one. So it might be a lot shorter now. But i found 30 min for like 6 gig not a lot of time (i just watch some anime and its done)
